A Level Audio-Visual: 'Teenagers: Watch and Learn'

My final A level production assignment was to produce a text that reflected the dissertation that we were asked to produce. My dissertation took the title 'Explore how teenagers are represented in Summer Heights High and Educating Yorkshire'. In my essay I explored how such programmes offer misrepresentations of teenagers, deviant representations and exploration of the idea of body image. As a result, I chose to re-create the fly on the wall style documentary about School life, basing my text closely on the format of programmes like Educating Essex, Yorkshire and Manchester.
