GCSE Coursework completed in the first year of GCSE Media Studies.
Creation magazine was the first real piece of media coursework that I ever produced. As part of my year 10 Media studies course, the brief was to create a front page and double page spread magazine, I used my friends as models, my dad’s camera and Microsoft powerpoint as editing software- the thought of this now makes me cringe, but I'll give myself credit for trying.
Creation was a fashion magazine was inspired by the likes of Cosmopolitan and Company, and was the basis brand of my year 10 and 11 GCSE coursework.
This GCSE Media coursework piece is cool—love seeing how someone turned a basic brief into a full fashion mag like Creation using just friends, a dad's camera, and PowerPoint! Takes me back to those early attempts that felt massive at the time 😅
When prepping for GCSEs now, especially stuff like gcse speech topics for English or Media presentations, it can get overwhelming juggling ideas and practice. Wish I'd had more resources back then! Nice throwback, Louise—thanks for sharing
